According to the corporate articles of association, there has to be one primary auditor and one substitute auditor. If an auditing firm is selected as the primary auditor, the requirement for the substitute may be unheeded. The auditing term equals with the accounting period extending until the end of the general meeting closing the period.
In 2014 the auditor selected by the general meeting was PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy, member of the Finnish Institute of Authorised Public Accountants with Maria Grönroos, APA, as chief auditor.
As per the general meeting the auditing is remunerated in accordance with a reasonable invoice. In 2014 the auditing fee was 38 thousand euros (38 thousand in 2013). Overall in 2014, the auditor was paid total 71 thousand euros (67 thousand euros in 2013) for auditing, consulting, taxation or other services.
