CUSTOMISABLE LOG home kits
Choosing a ready-made design from our collection is a good solution if you want to build quickly, easily and cost-effectively. Each model in our collection can be modified to suit your individual needs and preferences. We have already designed numerous versions of our most popular log home and cabin kits. In our database, there are thousands of log home designs that we have created for our clients, meaning we can usually find an existing building that can be modified to suit your needs. If this is not the case, then we simply start with a blank page, or if you already have an architect involved, we can use their designs.
We knew immediately that the Kippari villa was the right choice for us. However, we made a few changes to the off-the-peg design and chose slightly thicker logs, and moved the bathroom slightly.

Fast and precise building project
The pre-cut elements of our log home and cabin kits are manufactured from high-quality Finnish pine in our modern mill in Karstula, Finland. The high level of automation helps to ensure that the woodwork behind every Honka house is dimensionally accurate and the number of errors at the construction site are minimised. We use a precise building system that grooves each piece for a perfect fit every time. Each engineered, multi-laminated timber is clearly labelled for easy staging and picking to ensure easy assembly.
With our precision-cut logs, detailed instructions and trained partners worldwide, an average-sized Honka log home can be weather-tight in just a few weeks. Your log house kit can be erected much faster than conventional stick framing, which will reduce the likelihood of weather-related damages or issues with mould and mildew. In conventional construction, your home is exposed to the elements for far longer, which could lead to mould issues within the framing of the home, where it can thrive undetected for years.
