Customising our log cabins
All of the designs can be customised to your individual needs and wishes. And if you don’t find your favourite from our latest collection, we have a database of thousands of log cabin designs that you can browse at your local authorised Honka representative. If you are looking for something completly unique, we can start with a blank page or use your architect’s designs – everything is possible!
Creating the resort look
The main design theme for holiday homes is coziness and functionality – after all, a holiday lodge is meant to be a haven of relaxation.
Choice of log. The majestic round log is the choice for those who embrace the traditional log cabin look. However, if you are aiming to achieve a more contemporary resort look, the square logs can be used to create highly sophisticated contemporary designs as well. The non-settling Honka Fusion log lends itself particularly well to a variety of designs with large panoramic windows and modern details.
Corner types. Cross corners are often favored in holiday lodges to achieve an authentic log cabin look. The alternatives include the short cross corner, the cage corner and our latest innovation, the Honka Zero Corners.
Panoramic windows and sliding doors. A holiday home is usually built in a naturally beautiful environment. Why not enjoy your views to the fullest, with large panoramic windows and sliding doors that enable you to easily extend your living space to the patio.
